How Rafting Tours Work
Overview of a typical Rafting Trip
Based on the Rafting experience selected, we offer you life jackets, River Shuttle in a Bus or van with the raft and oars and paddles to the river put in. We give basic instructions on what to expect and look out for. We provide a Texas style bbq for those that elect the bbq combo tour at the end under our pavilions at the rivers edge.
Quick drying clothing/bathing suits works best. With river sandals or booties. Flip flops or other shoes are generally ok but not as reliable. Bring a hat and sunglasses. Dress in layers so you can add or take off layers depending on weather changes. Utah has a high UV index, and sunscreen is important to protect your skin.
The Provo river is a beautiful class I+ stretch with a decent current, small waves and lots of twists and turns. Although not a class III or IV river, it should be taken seriously and only those in good health should participate
